HOPPY TRAILS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

HOPPY TRAILS ("the app") is developed by Abdul Hakeem ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who it is shared with.

The short version

The game is fully playable without an account and without a network connection. If you never sign in, we hold no information that identifies you. Signing in is optional and exists only to put a name against a leaderboard score.

What the app collects

If you sign in with Google (optional):

These are used for one purpose: to show your row on the leaderboard. They are stored in Google Firebase Firestore. If you never sign in, none of this is collected — an anonymous, locally generated identifier is used instead, which is not linked to you.

Advertising (all users):

Stored on your device only, never transmitted:

What the app does not collect

Who your information is shared with

Only Google, as the provider of the services the app uses: Firebase (leaderboard storage), Google Sign-In (authentication) and AdMob (advertising). We do not share it with anyone else.

Leaderboards are public

If you sign in and set a score, your display name, profile picture and score are visible to every other player. Do not sign in if you would rather that were not the case — the game is complete without it.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. It is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme, and it serves standard advertising.

Your choices and rights

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
